After stepping on the property ladder in 1994, just before his lead role in Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio now owns a reported eight properties, including a private island in Belize. Worth a huge $300 million (£240m), the actor often rents out his homes, including a rather luxe property in Palm Springs.
Leo currently rents out his desert oasis compound in Old Las Palmas, Palm Springs for the eye-watering amount of $3,750 (£3k) per night. The star bought the house in 2014 for $5.2 million ($4.2m) after filming The Wolf of Wall Street, and we can see why...
The hefty rental price tag is well worth it when you step inside. The large lounge is perfect for entertaining, with generous seating, a grand piano, fireplace and, of course, a cocktail bar. And don’t worry if the party gets out of hand, Wolf-of-Wall-Street-style – there’s a daily maid service included in the rent.
The six beautifully-decorated bedrooms and seven bathrooms, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, bring the beauty of the surrounding desert indoors. Major renovations took place to modernise the house when DiCaprio first bought it, and the new mid-century modern style can be seen throughout.
You'll never be bored on this lavish estate, with the large pool complex also housing a steam room and sauna, perfect for unwinding after a long day of doing as little as possible. The house also comes with a one-bedroom guest house situated right next to the floodlit tennis court. Imagine reclining with a drink and watching a match through the panoramic windows.

Much like her iconic on-screen persona, Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker is a true New Yorker. The Sex and the City star and her long-time husband, fellow actor Matthew Broderick, have lived in Manhattan for many years, residing in a brownstone in the heart of the West Village. So, it might not surprise you to learn that the actor, who is currently filming season three of SATC spin-off, And Just Like That, owns a lovely holiday home in The Hamptons...
As far as celebrity homes go, Sarah Jessica Parker's Hamptons house is fairly modest. Measuring just 1,200 square feet, the beach cottage lies in the Dunes area of Amagansett, a coastal hamlet in East Hampton, and was built back in the 1940s.
While the exterior of the home is decorated with rustic shiplap timber, the interior is cosy and traditional, with brick fireplaces, cork flooring and mismatched furniture. The petite property offers a snug lounge, a compact kitchen, three bedrooms, one bathroom and a small but secluded backyard that's perfect for ultra-private holidaymakers.
You might expect Sarah Jessica Parker's home to be a little more stylish, but it's the property's simple and paired-back décor that makes it so charming. This bedroom is the most eye-catching space in the house, with its pops of summery colours.
Outside, there's a spacious lawn, a large deck with a barbecue grill and dining area, and an outdoor shower that's ready for post-beach walks. But perhaps best of all, a private pathway leads from the garden to a pristine strip of sand. For $95,000, you could rent the property for the whole summer, or you could splash out $45,000 just for the month of August, which is about $1,450 per night.
After marrying fellow rapper Offset in 2017, Cardi B and her beau went on the hunt for their dream home and snapped up a mansion in Atlanta for $5.8 million (£4.6m) in 2019. Shortly after the arrival of their second child together, Offset surprised his wife with a property in the Dominican Republic. With a net worth of $80 million (£64m), Cardi's new pad is reportedly said to be an investment property for the couple, and the shrewd rapper wasted no time in putting it on the rental market.
After telling her Instagram followers of her aspirations to own a property in the Caribbean, the 'WAP' singer's dreams finally came true when her husband of four years splashed out a reported $1.5 million (£1.2m) on the stunning mansion. However, the home has been bought as an investment and is currently on Airbnb for around $945 (£737) a night.
Spread over 8,000 square feet, the gated and guarded four-storey home boasts light and bright living spaces with sliding glass doors and a kitchen with rustic wooden countertops and a wine fridge. Connected to the dining room area, it's the perfect spot for entertaining.
Elsewhere, seven bedrooms sit alongside seven bathrooms, most with walls of glass that lead out to the stunning pool or a private balcony. There's also a separate one-bedroom guest house, with its own living room and bathroom for the ultimate in privacy.
Heading up to the fourth floor, an infinity pool on the roof boasts fountains and built-in lounge chairs that float in the water. The roof also features a gym and a covered barbecue area with a sink and a grill. However, this isn't all: there's also a second pool and a private garden for you to enjoy.
Best known for acting, producing and writing of some of Hollywood's most-loved movies, Vince Vaughn also has a lucrative sideline in buying and selling multimillion-dollar properties. After becoming a household name in the late 90s and early 00s via box office hits like Swingers, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, today he is said to have a net worth of $70 million (£56m).
In 2014, the actor invested in this beachside property for $2.8 million (£2.2m) and first put it on the short-term rental market in 2018. Located in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, the home is currently available for rent at $774 (£610) a night on average, and is the perfect getaway spot.
Spread over just shy of 5,300 square feet, the stunning home is full of jaw-dropping features such as an open-plan living space with soaring ceilings and not one, but two kitchens. On the third floor, there's also a media room, perfect for keeping you and your guests entertained.
With five bedrooms, the home sleeps 14 people. However, the highlight is the pair of master suites, both of which come with seating areas, private porches and bathrooms clad in limestone, marble and glass.
Heading outside, the amenities feature a private pool with a gas firepit, a handful of lounge and patio chairs and a barbecue, all with scenic views out over Western Lake.

Inside the Romeo and Juliet creator’s 6,550-square-foot property await rather dramatic features, from soaring ceilings and large arched doorways to a striking winding staircase, and even its own elevator. The home showcases original mouldings and five fireplaces throughout, illuminated via bay windows and skylights. Here, the parlour hosts a beautiful foliate patterned cast-iron Juliet balcony which extends the width of the house to take in the city park views.
As the listing suggests, the Manhattan townhouse beckons the "bygone era of the Gilded Age"’ in New York, with covetable city vistas over Stuyvesant Square Park. The five-storey rental was renovated in 2019, with its luxe furnishings gracing the pages of interior design magazines, including Elle Decor. Elsewhere you’ll spy a Clive Christian-designed kitchen with access to an ivy-clad walled garden, boasting magical dimming bistro lights.
Alongside three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the third floor, the fourth floor is currently set up as a standalone suite with its own living room, bar, gymnasium, bedroom and bathroom. According to the New York Post, renowned jazz tenor saxophonist Clifford Jordan and his wife, Sandy Jordan, lived on the fourth-floor studio for decades before the Moulin Rouge mega star snapped up the whole five-storey pad. Rolling Stones frontman and legendary rock star Mick Jagger owns a reported $250 million (£200m) worth of real estate. Buying and selling a number of luxury properties over the years in Los Angeles, New York and the UK, he has most recently snapped up a mansion in Sarasota, Florida for $2 million (£1.6m). However, the pièce de résistance is his beachfront villa in the West Indies...
Located on the private West Indies island of Mustique, and favoured by celebs and royals alike, Jagger's beachfront villa Stargroves doesn't come cheap. The villa’s rental price starts at $2,358 (£1.8k) a night, but what you get included in your getaway makes it worth the cash.
The Japanese-inspired villa has seven separate pavilions which each house one bedroom, with the whole complex accommodating up to 10 guests. The main living area pavilion opens out to a beachside sundeck for the ultimate in relaxation.
The six bedrooms are all decorated in a tranquil, Balinese style and you'll have four staff on call, including a chef and butler. The entertainment pavilion contains a piano and a billiards table, while the rental also comes with a Pathfinder Jeep so that you can explore the local coast and even boat out to the nearby island of St. Vincent.
Outside, a raised wooden walkway connects the pavilions, reflecting the style of a traditional Japanese garden. The luscious greenery (tended to by the villa’s two gardeners), 25-foot pool and gazebo make the outdoor experience as luxurious as possible.
With an impressive career spanning more than 15 years as a chart-topping musician and an entrepreneur, it's no surprise that Rihanna has bought, rented and flipped a number of properties over the years. Now one of the world's wealthiest female musicians and officially a billionaire, with a net worth of $1.7 billion (£1.4bn), she is renting out one of her most recent property buys.
In early 2021, not long after things got serious with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, Rihanna bought this luxurious five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Beverly Hills home for $13.8 million (£11.1m). After snapping up another home right next door, which she flipped back onto the market in 2023, according to The Real Deal the star put the property up for rent at $80,000 (£62k) a month, which is equivalent to around $2,666 (£2.1k) per night.
The 5,900-square-foot mansion sits secluded in the exclusive 90210 zip code and was originally built in the 1930s. There are plenty of glamorous fixtures fit for any popstar, including French white oak hardwood floors, brass accents and marbled surfaces. Most recently, the home was transformed into an ultra-contemporary farmhouse that blends modern and traditional design via its architecture and interiors.
The new tenant will also have access to custom walk-in wardrobes and a truly sumptuous master bathroom with a standalone bathtub and accompanied by a sun-trap terrace. There are also plenty of open-plan spaces for socialising, such as an intimate lounge area, luxurious wet bar and alfresco courtyard, complete with a firepit, pool and spa amenities.
As you would expect from a Beverly Hills retreat, there is also a myriad of spots to enjoy private moments, as well as multiple interior and outdoor viewpoints that overlook the verdant greenery of Coldwater Canyon.
British record producer and DJ, Calvin Harris, rose to fame in 2007, when he released two smash-hit singles, 'Acceptable in the 80s' and 'The Girls'. Soon, the Scottish musician was collaborating with pop stars like Rihanna and Pharrell Williams, gaining himself an estimated net worth of $300 million (£240m). Using his money wisely, the star snapped up a stunning hillside home in Beverley Hills and it's now available to rent...
Harris snapped up the dreamy Californian spread in 2014, when it was first built, paying a cool $15 million (£12m) for the place. Since then, the musician has invested plenty of time and money into renovations, turning the home into a stylish oasis that's truly worthy of a VIP. In early 2022, Harris attempted to sell up, listing it for $25 million (£20m). He struggled to find a buyer and even switched listing agents several times, but didn't consider dropping the price.
Still available to buy, the hillside home was also advertised to rent at a colossal $100,000 (£80k) per month, which is around $3,333 (£2.7k) a night. For their money, the tenant will gain 117,000 square feet of inside space, spread across five separate structures. There's a main residence, a two-storey guest house (that's currently set up as recording studios), a security office and a five-car garage with elevator access to a state-of-the-art movie theatre.
The main house offers a huge entrance hall, numerous gorgeous living rooms, a modern kitchen with a wine closet, a fitness studio and four bedrooms. As for décor, many of the rooms benefit from coffered or vaulted ceilings, herringbone hardwood floors, chic fireplaces and endless French doors that open the spaces up to the idyllic garden. This is just one of the 10 bedrooms that can be found across the compound.
Outside, there's almost three acres of land. There's a secluded swimming pool, a sun deck, a custom pergola with an outdoor kitchen, a sports court and a lounge kitted out with a firepit. Now that price tag isn't sounding too bad, is it?
Equally celebrated for his talents in musical theatre as for his Wolverine films, Hugh Jackman is a paramount performer. With an estimated net worth of $180 million (£144m), the Australian-born actor’s property portfolio boasts a series of stunning homes from Sydney to Manhattan.
In January of 2023 Hugh Jackman and his wife, fellow actor Deborra-Lee Furness, announced that they would be making their East Hampton estate available to rent during the winter months. The waterfront property boasts five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths and 5,000-square feet of living space.
The sleek, ultra-modern home was a true labour of love for the couple, who first bought the property back in 2015 for $3.5 million (£2.8m). The pair then began a six-year renovation process, completely transforming the building into the home of their dreams. The property was recently available to rent for $166,666 (£135k) per month, that's around $5,555 (£4.5k) a night.
The couple reinvented their home with the help of architect Stelle Lomont Rouhani, who collaborated with Jackman and Furness to create “the utmost zen tranquillity” overlooking Gardiner’s Bay, according to the listing. The main home boasts three ensuite bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, an informal dining room with a hand-carved walnut dining table and floor-to-ceiling glass doors.
The 2.5-acre property also includes a renovated guest house, which features two bedrooms and an open living space with a kitchen bar. The property also boasts an oversized pool and spa, both of which offer 180 degree views of the bay below. The listing describes the entire compound as “the ultimate retreat with all the amenities of a 5-star resort”.

Located near the town of Figline Valdarno in the region of Tuscany, just 45 minutes away from Florence, the 16th-century Italian villa, named Il Palagio, sits in nearly 900 acres of gorgeous grounds. A family retreat for the couple and the scene of many parties, including Trudie and Sting's anniversaries, it's usually booked out for a month in the summer while they are in residence. If you have $201,500 (£157.3k) going spare, you can book it for a week, which is around $28,785 (£22.4k) per night.
The three-storey main villa has a sumptuous-but-classic interior and includes a music room, a complete recording studio and a wine cellar stocked with the best Italian wines. With nine bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 28 guests, with a tenth bedroom especially reserved for Trudie and Sting themselves. A further five villas can host 30 more guests.
