With the release of her 2010 album Speak Now, Taylor's music career went stratospheric. Its success helped Taylor buy this gorgeous house in Beverly Hills for $3.6 million the following year. That's around $5.4 million (£4m) today.

Secured behind gates, the 2,800-square-foot (260sqm) clapboard home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a sports court.

The star hung onto the property for a while before selling it in 2018 for $4 million (£3m) in an off-market deal. That's the equivalent of $5.2 million (£3.9m) today.
