A tactical buy, sources say Swift converted the townhouse into a private entrance and indoor garage for her neighbouring homes, allowing her to bypass the apartment building's public entrance. The townhouse became a gateway to Swift's biggest combined real estate investment to date – a sprawling multi-storey compound measuring more than 16,000 square feet.
