Truly a home fit for a billionaire, this mesmerising mansion once belonged to Petra Ecclestone, the daughter of Formula One executive, Bernie Ecclestone. According to Mansion Global, Petra reportedly purchased the property in 2011 for $85 million (£68.3m) and decided to sell it in 2019.
She originally listed the 123-room home for $200 million (£160.7m) but sold it for $120 million (£96.4m). At the time, this set a new real estate record for the highest selling price ever in California. It's also one of the most expensive homes in America, period!
