On their website, the couple have documented the hard work, creative thinking and roadblocks that went into making their cave home a reality. Initially, they planned to “build a geodesic dome in front of the cave, treating the cave as a sheltered backyard, or a giant basement”, just as this couple did when they built their home within a dome.
