Designed for a science fiction fan who wanted to enjoy the spectacular views from this forest plot, the Spaceship House was created by NOEM, a Barcelona-based design studio. As sturdy as it looks, the home is a prefabricated construction and was built from three wooden modules and a metal frame, taking just 14 weeks to construct.

Nestled within a verdant walled garden, the unique property was intended as an art studio and its creative origins are still clear to see.

Celebrated Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid designed the futuristic Capital Hill Residence in Russia for her friend Vladislav Doronin in 2008. Sadly, the home was only completed in 2018, two years after Hadid’s death. The sci-fi home is the only residential property designed by the world-famous architect.
