Take a look at Taylor Swift's stunning $95m property portfolio
Taylor Swift's homes: from Nashville to New York City

Taylor Swift has come a long way from the Pennsylvania farm she grew up on. The superstar is now the richest female musician in the world thanks to an impressive catalogue of hit albums and a roster of sell-out world tours, the latest of which made her a billionaire.
Unsurprisingly, she's built up a huge collection of real estate on the road to stardom, worth around $95 million (£71m).

In her billionaire era

It's been a momentous few years for Taylor Swift. Her relationship with footballer Travis Kelce has dominated headlines, and so too has her financial success. The star's Eras Tour propelled her to billionaire status and a net worth of $1.6 billion (£1.2bn).
Despite spending 21 months on tour, Taylor is something of a homebody and has an amazing collection of properties to retire to. However, home sweet home looks a little different than it used to. Let's take a look back at where it all began.
Where did Taylor Swift grow up?

Taylor Swift was born on 13 December 1989 to Scott and Andrea Swift. Her younger brother Austin joined the family two years later.
A rather idyllic start to life, Taylor spent her formative years on an 11-acre (4.5ha) Christmas tree farm near Reading, Pennsylvania.
The star is pictured here as a toddler with her parents at the property, known as Pine Ridge, which went on to inspire her 2019 festive hit Christmas Tree Farm.

Swift's father, Scott, was a financial advisor and her mother, Andrea, was a marketing executive, so Taylor enjoyed a relatively comfortable childhood in Pennsylvania.
During her 2018 Reputation world tour, the singer took a nostalgic trip back to Pine Ridge. She's seen here in front of a rustic shed on the property holding an old photo album showing her younger self playing in front of the same structure more than a decade earlier.

During the same visit, Taylor posed in her old childhood bedroom with a few celebrity friends who joined her on the trip. The snug room features sash windows, wall panelling and enough space for a single bed.
Taylor's interest in music began when she was young. As a child, her mother would take her to Berks Youth Theatre Academy after school and she went on to star in numerous productions including Grease and The Sound of Music.
Taylor Swift's teenage family home

When Taylor was nine, the family relocated to this five-bedroom home in the nearby town of Wyomissing, reportedly to be closer to her theatre rehearsals. The star learned to play guitar here at the age of 11 and began writing songs and recording demos.
The Swifts lived at the house until Taylor was 14, when they moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee, to support her music career.
A year earlier, the singer had landed a development deal with Sony-owned RCA, becoming the youngest songwriter to be signed to the label.
Taylor Swift's first apartment in Nashville

Taylor's jump onto the property ladder happened in Nashville, Tennessee, where she launched her country music career with her eponymous album in 2006.
After 'You Belong with Me' from her second album, Fearless, soared to number three in the charts, Taylor purchased her first home in 2009 when she was just 20 years old.
The 3,240-square-foot (301sqm) condo is in the heart of Nashville's Music Row and cost her nearly $2 million, the equivalent of around $3 million (£2.2m) in today's money.

The lofty interior of the penthouse is reportedly shown here in an image taken before Taylor purchased the property. A corner unit, the apartment has three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, walls of floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony for Taylor to enjoy her morning coffee.
Taylor extensively renovated the penthouse over a period of 18 months, replacing the minimalist aesthetic with a colourful, whimsical scheme inspired by Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan.

Taylor gave a glimpse inside the reimagined home in an interview with ABC's Katie Couric in 2012. Rustic brickwork, vibrant wallpaper and display cabinets of curios frame the living spaces, while quirky mismatched chairs line the dining table.
In the multicoloured kitchen, hand-painted flowers adorn the cabinetry, but the most unusual features have to be the koi pond in the centre of the living room and the human-sized bird cage.
Taylor Swift's Cape Cod-style home in Beverly Hills

With the release of her 2010 album Speak Now, Taylor's music career went stratospheric. Its success helped Taylor buy this gorgeous house in Beverly Hills for $3.6 million the following year. That's around $5.1 million (£3.8m) today.
Secured behind gates, the 2,800-square-foot (260sqm) clapboard home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a sports court.
The star hung onto the property for a while before selling it in 2018 for $4 million (£3m) in an off-market deal.
Taylor Swift's grand Nashville estate

That wasn't Taylor's only real estate purchase in 2011. She also bought this sprawling, 5,000-square-foot (465sqm) Greek Revival-style mansion in June of the same year for her parents, Andrea and Scott.
Sitting on almost six acres (2.4ha) of land, the four-bedroom property is known as Northumberland Estate. The home is in the upscale neighbourhood of Forest Hills in Nashville.

The palatial home cost the singer $2.5 million, which is around $3.6 million (£2.7m) when adjusted for today's inflation.
The estate features a spacious guest house, which covers 2,000 square feet (185sqm) and looks out over the swimming pool.
Swift still owns the palatial property, though it's not clear who resides there.
Taylor Swift's mid-century modern home in Los Angeles

In 2012, the year Taylor released her fourth album Red, she bought this magnificent mid-century modern home in Los Angeles for $1.8 million – in the region of $2.5 million (£1.9m) in modern money.
Dating back to 1959, the streamlined property was a change in architectural style for the star.
According to the LA Times, the sleek home was reportedly used as a place for Taylor to host guests while she lived in another Beverly Hills residence.

The single-storey house would have been a delightful LA base for the star's visitors. It features four bedrooms and five bathrooms over 2,950 square feet (274sqm), more than enough space to accommodate a family.
Beyond the stylish interior, the leafy back garden features a lagoon-style swimming pool, while decking and a central courtyard offer additional outdoor living spaces.
Swift sold the home in 2018 for $2.7 million (£2m), making a nice profit from the sale.
Taylor Swift's coastal estate in Massachusetts

2012 was a busy year for Taylor's real estate portfolio. As well as purchasing a new base in Los Angeles, she bought this magnificent oceanfront estate in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, for $5 million. around $7 million (£5.3m) when adjusted for today's inflation.
Offering views across the glittering Nantucket Sound, the home neighbours the Kennedy family's famous compound.
Taylor bought the property during her brief relationship with Conor Kennedy, the son of US health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Spread across more than 1.1 acres (0.4ha), the mansion encompasses 5,064 square feet (470sqm) of living space. The living room is bright and airy, with a whitewashed beamed ceiling and French doors that frame the breathtaking coastline.
The interior is pictured here when the house was listed for sale in May 2025 for $14.5 million (£10.9m) with Robert B. Kinlin of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Robert Paul Properties.

The home's sprawling floor plan features eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms and dedicated guest lodgings, plenty of space to accommodate Taylor's friends and family.
As well as a sunroom and formal dining room, the mansion has a beautiful chef's kitchen with a large breakfast island, state-of-the-art appliances and refined custom cabinetry in a soft grey hue.

The mansion is flanked by manicured lawns, a firepit and a resort-style swimming pool, along with 200 feet (61m) of private beach below.
During Taylor's tenure, it would've offered the perfect secluded escape away from the public eye.
However, the star didn't hang on to the coastal estate for long. She sold it in 2013 for around $5.7 million, the equivalent of $7.8 million (£5.9m) today.
Taylor Swift's Rhode Island beach mansion

By 2013, Taylor's music career had exploded with multiple Grammys, People's Choice Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Entertainer of the Year Awards. All the while, her real estate portfolio was continuing to grow.
Having sold her Cape Cod home in Massachusetts, the singer purchased this magnificent coastal mansion in Rhode Island's Watch Hill.
The beachfront home set Taylor back $17.8 million, or the equivalent of $24.5 million (£18.3m) today. She reportedly paid for the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in cash!

The 11,000-square-foot (1,022sqm) home has been the scene of numerous A-list parties over the years, in particular, Taylor's famous Fourth of July celebrations.
Taylor's friends have given us a glimpse inside the mansion over the years, and the singer appears to have kept the interiors faithful to the home's historic roots.
The central staircase still features original, wrought-iron balustrades, while the kitchen is fitted with traditional Shaker-style cabinetry.

Built for entertaining, the house features an eight-seater dining table that looks out over the water, as well as numerous outdoor living areas, including this firepit where Taylor and her friends posed during one Fourth of July party.
In early 2025, permits were filed to add a guest bedroom suite to the floor plan, perhaps to accommodate the star's frequent celebrity guests.

The mansion overlooks 700 feet (213m) of shoreline with views of Block Island Sound and Montauk Point. A dream vacation home, it's the perfect place for the busy star to get away from it all and unwind in the fresh sea air.
Once home to socialite Rebekah Harkness, the mansion's history even inspired the song 'The Last Great American Dynasty' on Swift's eighth studio album Folklore, released in the summer of 2020.
Taylor Swift's Tribeca penthouses

By February 2014, Taylor had her sights set on New York. The star's Big Apple empire began with the purchase of not one but two penthouses from Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson.
The properties set her back just under $20 million, around $27 million (£20.2m) today.
Following the sale, Swift merged the two separate penthouses into one huge city home, moving out into a rented property in the West Village while work was undertaken.

The merged apartments encompass a total of 8,300 square feet (771sqm), with ten bathrooms, ten bedrooms and private wraparound terraces that add an extra 6,000 square feet (557sqm) to the already vast floor plans.
Over the years, Taylor's Instagram has provided insight into the home's decoration. Her bedroom has a neoclassical feel, with ornate mirrors and a TV cabinet lined with lace.
Meanwhile, the living room features rich red walls, dark wood panelling, wide plank floors and 12-foot-high (3.7m) beamed ceilings,

Taylor's childhood friend Abigail shared a photo of the star's cat, Meredith, reclining on a velvet armchair in the home's grand hallway – you can spot one of the singer's Grammys on the sideboard behind.
On the right, Taylor's friend Karlie Kloss and ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris are pictured in her kitchen back in 2015.
The space features cream and red tiling, a burnished metal cooker hood and traditional white cabinetry with rustic exposed beams overhead.

The super-secure penthouse is reportedly accessed via a plush private lift to protect the star's privacy.
While the property is a peaceful retreat from the city, it's also one of Taylor's favourite places to host friends. In 2019, the singer threw a New Year's Eve costume party at her home, with A-list guests invited to dress up as their childhood heroes.

Taylor Swift's landmark Los Angeles mansion

Shifting her gaze to Los Angeles, in 2015, the singer expanded her property portfolio even further with a magnificent 1930s mansion.
Swift purchased this seven-bedroom home from the family of legendary Hollywood producer Samuel Goldwyn for $25 million, which is around $33.8 million (£25.3m) in today's money.
In 2018, she applied for and won landmark status for the estate, ensuring that the home will never be significantly changed or demolished.

Old Hollywood glamour can be seen throughout the home, evident in the grand sweeping staircase and curved walls in the hallway.
Swift is the first person to own the home outside of the Goldwyn family, whose legendary parties were once attended by the likes of prestigious actor Clark Gable and comic actor and filmmaker Charlie Chaplin.

The refined mansion features plenty of luxury amenities, including a cinema room, library, card room, gym, swimming pool, tennis court, and a private apartment for guests.
Taylor is a huge fan of traditional 'Americana' interior design and is said to have decked out the home with a combination of vintage furnishings and contemporary art pieces.

Outside, the large swimming pool is flanked by a covered patio area that's ideal for alfresco dining.
Swift and her architect reportedly carried out exterior renovations in 2016, a process that included restoring wooden decorative elements such as lattice panels and wooden finials.
The pool cabana was also purportedly restored to its original 1934 design.
Taylor Swift's Cornelia Street rental in New York City

While Taylor was renovating her Tribeca penthouse, she rented out this converted carriage house in New York City's glamorous West Village in 2016.
Located on Cornelia Street, the 21-foot-wide (6.4m) brownstone set the singer back $39,500 (£30k) a month, but with its double-height ceilings, hardwood floors and spectacular city views, this historic home was well worth it.
Taylor loved the property so much that she even wrote a song about it, 'Cornelia Street', which featured on her 2019 album Lover.

The 5,500-square-foot (511sqm) property dates back to 1870 and has four bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Despite numerous renovations over the years, old blends seamlessly with new.
Entertainment Tonight took a tour of the townhouse when it was available to rent in the summer of 2023 for $45,000 (£34k) per month.
Pictured here is one of three grand fireplaces in the home, which is the centrepiece of the contemporary lounge.

There's an array of modern features throughout the home, such as the spectacular chef's kitchen on the second floor with a range cooker, metro tiling and beautiful white cabinetry.
In total, the luxurious home encompasses five floors, with multiple terraces offering plenty of pockets of private outdoor space, a rarity in New York City.
The property even features an expansive roof terrace with a large alfresco dining area.

Elsewhere on the second floor, the sleek dining area features industrial-inspired floor-to-ceiling glass windows that flood the home with natural light.
The home's lower level is a modern addition that includes 27-foot (8.2m) ceilings, a basalt stone floor and a 30-foot-long (9.1m) indoor swimming pool. Next to the pool is a lounge area with double doors that open out onto an exterior patio.
We're not surprised this beautiful home was the inspiration for one of Taylor's hit songs!
Taylor Swift's Tribeca townhouse

In 2017, just before releasing her album Reputation, Taylor expanded her New York City empire with this $18 million (£13.5m) townhouse, which is located next door to her Tribeca penthouse.
Sources say Taylor converted the townhouse into a private entrance and indoor garage for her neighbouring home, allowing her to bypass the apartment building's public entrance.
The townhouse became a gateway to Swift's biggest combined real estate investment to date, a sprawling multistorey compound measuring more than 16,000 square feet (1,486sqm).

The 5,000-square-foot (465sqm) townhouse includes four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms across its three floors,a movie theatre, gym and master bedroom with walk-in wardrobes and a limestone jet bathtub.
There's also a guest suite on the first floor with a separate entrance, ideal for hosting famous friends and family.
Meanwhile, on the roof, there's an outdoor terrace, complete with a Japanese paper glass wall and a state-of-the-art barbecue.
Taylor Swift's fourth Tribeca apartment

However, Taylor's Tribeca shopping spree didn't stop there. She went on to purchase yet another condo in the same building as her penthouses in February 2018.
The latest addition to her compound, Swift bought the 3,540-square-foot (329sqm) apartment from financier Jeremy Phillips for just under $9.8 million (£7.9m) in an off-market deal.
This brings her total spend on the same New York City block to around $48 million (£38.7m).

The floor plan of the apartment includes three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms.
This image of another loft in the building gives an idea of the home's aesthetic, which likely includes beamed ceilings, cast-iron columns, brick walls and huge oak-framed windows.
Following numerous renovations, it's thought that all four of Taylor's properties have now been combined into a vast residence. The spaces' cohesive interiors must have made merging the numerous units all the easier.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Florida rental mansion

From the East Coast to the Southeast, news broke in May 2025 that Taylor had been staying with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at his rental mansion in Boca Raton, Florida.
Kelce relocated to attend football training in the area, and Taylor is reportedly a frequent visitor.
The mansion is pictured here back in 2020, when the home was listed with Royal Palm Properties for $22.5 million (£16.8m).
Perched on the waterfront, the home has six bedrooms, a swimming pool and a media room.
Embracing a slower pace of life

After a busy few years on her record-breaking world tour, it seems like Taylor is finally taking some downtime. As well as her jaunts to Florida, the star has reportedly been relaxing with Travis at her Tribeca compound in between his training.
Now seemingly embracing a slower pace of life, perhaps Taylor will focus her attentions on expanding her property collection further and investing more of her billion-dollar fortune.
