The Team

We are an experienced team of editors and journalists working with industry experts to offer advice, insight and inspiration to anyone looking to take their next step on the property ladder or lose themselves in tours of the world's most amazing residences.

Dom Eames, Editor-in-Chief

After spending his twenties writing and producing film and TV, Dom has been leading award-winning digital editorial teams for Channel 4, Virgin Media and MSN.com, and currently leads the LoveInc. editorial team. He is passionate about property and has recently designed and built his own carbon-zero home

Natalie Davies, Editor

An experienced editor and digital expert, Natalie spearheaded the build and launch of lovePROPERTY.com and has been at the helm ever since. She has worked at some of the best-known homes titles in the UK including Ideal Home and LivingEtc, and was shortlisted for the Homes and Interiors Editor of the Year at the BSME (British Society of Magazine Editors) awards in 2021. She previously won awards from The Good Web Guide and the PPA (Professional Publishers Association). Passionate about art, design and history, she specialises in interior trends, 20th-century architecture and finding eye-catching and unusual properties.

Steph Durrant, Deputy Editor

Having worked on some of the UK’s best-loved homes titles, including Ideal Home, Style at Home and HomeStyle, Steph is happiest surrounded by bright, maximalist interiors and has an aversion to beige. She also has a passion for all things vintage and can’t resist a spot of DIY, crafting or upcycling – plus spoiling Cece the cat.

Lorraine Luximon, Senior Features Editor

Having edited several leading lifestyle publications including HomeStyle magazine Lorraine knows exactly what you need for your next home makeover. As an experienced photoshoot stylist and a keen renovator, she has a fantastic eye for an image and loves inspiring case studies of people who took the plunge on a property transformation. When she isn't editing or hunting out a property news story, Lorraine is hanging out with Forrest, her enigmatic cat, or hiking.

Carolyn Heslop, Features Editor

With a penchant for maximalism and odd décor, Carolyn has written and edited for numerous brands including The British Library and Eurotunnel. She likes to focus on our ‘darker’ content, exploring abandoned homes and haunted spaces (her own home is haunted) but likes to contrast this with Barbie pink interiors and homes built specifically for pets. Her three dogs have yet to have their own mansion, but plans are afoot.

Alexandra Upton, Writer

A Boston native, Alexandra moved to the UK five years ago to study English and history at the University of St Andrews. During her time there, she worked as a freelancer for The Scotsman and served as the founding Editor in Chief of Her Campus St Andrews, the University’s chapter of an international consortium of digital publications focused primarily on the experiences of university women. Since graduation, Alexandra has loved channelling her passions for history and language into research pieces for lovePROPERTY. When she isn’t writing, Alexandra can be found performing on the London stage.

Alanna Lynott, Writer

A former news writer, Alanna loves to sink her teeth into our more research-heavy pieces. She spent several years as an Assistant Picture Editor at a national newspaper and is also a keen artist and nature photographer, which gives her a good eye for a strong image. Thanks to a love of medieval and classical history, Alanna is a sucker for a historic home and her own charmingly chaotic décor style is best described as 'country house meets Bedouin tent'.

Freelance writers

We have a fantastic team of freelancers who regularly contribute to our site including: Jen Grimble, Susan Springate, Daniel Coughlin, Rachel Homer, Lizzie Hudson, Rachel Ogden, Salley Coffey and Angela Kennedy.
